How Do You Do IT??

Seriously I don't know how you all do it ... have a life ... blog .... jobs ..... family .... kids!  Ugh I just can't find the time or motivation to blog these days.  Maybe it is because I sit on a computer all day at work and don't feel like getting on when I get home or that by the time I get home I am just too tired or have too many other things to do.

OK - so what have we been up to???  Birthday parties, soccer, Thanksgiving, soccer, dance, soccer, decorating, soccer ... do you see a theme here?

Tonight it Bia's dance performance. Hopefully she doesn't have stage fright! Nana and Poppa are joining us for her tap debut! Can't wait. This weekend Chatty has a soccer tournament half way to LA - seriously it is on the other freakin side of town. Oh well the things we do for our kids!

We decorated the house for Christmas, although I must admit I am not really in the spirit and Christmas songs are kind of annoying me, not sure why.  Maybe because I have done very little (almost none) Christmas shopping, no baking (my new oven is being delivered next week - Merry Christmas/Happy Anniversary/Happy Birthday to me!) and we haven't even put the ornaments on the tree yet. Hopefully the spirit will give me a swift kick in the rear this weekend!

Holiday Recap

My two week vacation is coming to an end.  On one hand I am looking forward to a little more adult time and less access to food and beverages but on the other hand I will miss sleeping in!  This is my quick recap of the past two weeks in the ESPN house ...

We did lots of snuggling in Christmas pajamas

 We made lots of bribes before church to get a good family photo ... as you will notice there isn't one of all of us because everyone wouldn't cooperate! 

But I do love this one ... even if I was ready to strangle one three people in my family by this point 

We received two cute puppies from Santa along with lots of other good stuff ... not as cute as our neighbors' puppies but a better fit at our house!

And low and behold it even snowed in the desert!!   

We had a nice visit with Mr. ESPN's parents, although it was nice to have another week off after they left.  We visited with lots of friend over the break - Uncle Greg, Angie, Kendra, Aunt Beth, etc.  We were on the go a lot!  Back to reality tomorrow morning for all of us!  Glad I will be at the office when Mr. ESPN has to get the girls up -

I have a feeling it won't be pretty!

Miscellaneous Merriment

Is it bad that today is the first official day of Christmas vacation and my kids are driving me nuts? It is going to be a long two weeks!

Last Friday Bia had her winter "pee-formance" (as she calls it) at school. She was so excited for it. Nana, Poppa and I were excited to see Bia in action. So much anticipation and then this ....

 She stayed like that the entire time the class sang!  At least she didn't bust out crying like several of the little boys did.

Santa came to visit Chatty at Boys and Girls Club.  They always have the best looking Santa ...

Here are a couple shots of how I ended up displaying my photo Christmas cards ... I nailed a ribbon on the wall and glued the cards on the front in my archway leading to the kitchen ....

I am heading to the airport shortly to pick up the in-laws ... wish me luck this week ... it is going to be a long one and at the end I will he hosting a grandparent detox session!  Tis the Season!
